DJ Gap
I’m resident DJ at KiCKFLiP in Second Life, where I play every third Thursday at 12pm SLT.
DJ Gap Is Gonna Make You Sweat!
My style is fun, hard, and wild – I mash up bangers from different genres and eras with no respect for the “genre police.” I want to entertain! And I want us to have fun together!
I design each DJ set as a show to be experienced from start to end, like a journey that we embark on and experience together. I truly love what I’m doing, and I love doing it with you. ❤️

Yep, every single DJ set is on youtube.com/@djgap, complete with track listings. Sometimes with footage of my mixing, and almost always with live inworld recordings.
What sweat means
My DJ sets at KiCKFLiP are called sweat – cause that’s what we do! They have evolved to look a little something like this:
The Warm-Up
The first half hour is for new music of different genres and BPMs – expect some silly live mashups!
The Deep Zone
Now we enter the meditative sea of phat beats currently called tech house. DJ can take a drink and chat!
The Wild Finale
As the BPM increases and the acid starts infusing the beats, we throw ourselves into a blazing inferno – get ready to sweat!

Upcoming DJ Sets 2026
My KiCKFLiP sets are always from 12pm (noon) to 2pm SLT. SLT means Second Life Time and is the same as in San Francisco (Pacific Time).
DJ Gap’s Pet Peeves
No AI Slop
AI “music” has invaded the platforms and I see it as my job to spot it and give you an AI free set. (There are some caveats.)
No Repeats
I take pride in finding new great music, so that each set will be new to you. Except for our favorite bangers of course!
No mic
I express myself with my music selection, mixing, samples, and inworld gestures – I’m not a talking DJ.
Guest DJ for Second Life Events
I’ve played at the Second Life 22nd Birthday celebrations, the Nemo Beach Festival, Harmony Hills Anniversary, and private rezday parties.
I regularly play in my home-sim Dreamer – particularly at Midsummer.
If you’re looking for a guest DJ for your Second Life event, check out my Youtube channel first, so you know what to expect. Then send me an IM inworld (gapnotes) or contact me on Discord (gapnography).
Follow me on Mastodon!
I keep a photo diary on Mastodon, which is an open source and decentralized social media platform – feel free to follow me there!
